Site 3 - Background Forty Campground
Great site, quiet, lovely.
Great site—quiet, and had everything we needed. Specific notes on finding the place would be helpful.
GPS directions were inaccurate. Look for the upright kayak and turn there. We followed GPS (went past the turn), ended up on someone’s property, and had to turn around with a camper.

Very quiet location. Pictures are a bit deceiving as only the cabin and the last spot are by the water. The others are a good ways from the water through the weeds. Regardless, I got some really good sleep there. Not your typical campground. Very quiet and secluded. If you are looking for a quiet get away, this is it.

Site 2 - Background Forty Campground
We had a very nice and quiet stay here. The property was nice and well kept. We would stay here again if in the area. Getting in and out of the site was not the easiest for our 40 ft 5th wheel. Also, make sure you have a good water filtration system. Our filters started off white and ended up brown due to rust I believe. Also, triple check your route as for some reason Google had us going to a different way and cost us 40 minutes. Once we were on the right check the property is easy to find if you keep an eye open for a standing kayak near the road.

Site 1 - Background Forty Campground
Forested paradise!
Gorgeous piece of land! Very serene and private! Has a creek running through it! Sites are level gravel pads with functional full hook-ups and decent water pressure. There are a total of 5 FHU RV sites with picnic tables and fire pits with standing grill pan/grate for said fire pits (except site #1.) Entrance to area is flat gravel tree lined drive into the back-forty. Sites are well spaced and there is a rental cabin on the circle drive at the end. I mean WOW! By far my favorite HipCamp site so far! Forested views out the back of camper and a soy bean field across the way. Private and secluded, you cannot hear any traffic with the exception of the occasional semi off in the distance you have to strain to hear. My TT is 25ft and I had plenty of room to spare in front, so big rig friendly. What else can I say, this place is fantastic, will definitely return!
